Signing up, a little at a time

Only the first step is required. Skip any of the others and pick them up from your dashboard whenever you're ready. We only ask for identity details when you're about to publish your profile, join a live project or receive customer contact. Your NEMSA certificate is optional to start — add it when you have one, and we'll check it before Suny matches you to installation requests.

Not certified yet? You can still use Suny for your own customers.
Suny isn't the regulator, and we don't block you from recording your work: share your page and estimator, and keep a record of each job. What we won't do is present you as certified, or match you to Suny's own installation requests, until we've checked a current NEMSA certificate. When you want to get certified, we'll help you organise your records into an application and refer you to recognised training providers such as RETTI. Suny doesn't issue or sell certification — NEMSA does.

What does Suny cost me?

Nothing. Every tool is free while we build Suny with our first installers.

What if I'm not NEMSA-certified yet?

You can still use Suny's tools: share your profile and estimator, receive requests from your own link, and keep a record of every job. Your profile shows "NEMSA certificate: not provided" as a plain fact. Suny only matches its own customers to installation work once we've checked a current certificate — and when you're ready to get certified, we'll help you organise your records into an application and point you to recognised training providers.

How are customers matched to me?

On your identity check, service area, project type, capacity, availability and delivery record. For installation work, Suny only matches installers whose NEMSA certificate we've checked.
